## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

JUST AFTER THE MAIN GEAR TOUCHED DOWN, WHILE IN A NOSE HIGH ATTITUDE, A DEER CROSSED THE RUNWAY RIGHT TO LEFT, STRIKING THE AIRCRAFT NOSE LANDING GEAR. THE ENTIRE GEAR ASSEMBLY WAS REMOVED BY THE IMPACT. THE PILOT MAINTAINED A LANDING ATTITUDE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, BEFORE THE NOSE SETTLED AND CAME INTO CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY. BOTH PROPELLERS STRUCK THE PAVEMENT DESPITE THE PILOT?S ATTEMPT TO STOP PROP ROTATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
