## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N143PA, AN ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ MK27 UAS WAS GIVEN A LAUNCH COMMAND FROM THE PART 91 R&D LAUNCH PAD AT PDT, AND IMMEDIATELY BEGAN TO ROTATE ON ITS SIDE AFTER VERTICAL TAKEOFF BEGAN. RIGHT SIDE OF AIRCRAFT DID NOT LIFT EQUAL TO LEFT SIDE, AND UAS ROLLED OVER UPSIDE DOWN. A FLIGHT TERMINATION SYSTEM COMMAND WAS GIVEN BUT IT WAS NOT EFFECTIVE IN PREVENTING LOSS OF CONTROL. UAS IMPACTED THE GROUND UPSIDE DOWN CAUSING SPAR DAMAGE AND DAMAGE TO CENTER SECTION OF UAS. AIRCRAFT DAMAGE SUBSTANTIAL BER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
