## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT IN COMMAND ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS OPERATING N7530E, TAKING OFF FROM SHV AND HEADED TO GLH AT APPROX 1000 LOCAL TIME. AT ABOUT 30 MINUTES INTO LEVEL FLIGHT, AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO EXPEREINCE ENGINE PROBLEMS AND LOST POWER (RPM INDICATION) . PILOT INITALLY ATTEMTED TO CONTACT SHV TOWER TO REVERT BACK TO SHV BUT ENGINE BEGAN STALLING MORE SEVERLY. PILOT DECIDED TO AUTO LAND AIRCRAFT AT 54F (OUTSIDE OF HOMER LA) WHICH WAS THE CLOSEST AND SAFEST LANDING SPOT. PILOT AUTO LANDED THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY WITHOUT DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT OR INJURIES TO CREW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
