## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A CESSNA 340 AIRCRAFT WAS ON A REPOSITIONING FLIGHT BY THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FROM HICKS AIRFIELD AIRPORT (T67) TO THE GRANBURY REGIONAL AIRPORT (GDJ). THE PIC STATED THAT HE OVERFLEW THE CENTER OF THE AIRPORT THEN TURNED RIGHT FOR A RIGHT DOWNWIND TO GDJ RUNWAY 14. HE STATED THAT HE EXECUTED A STANDARD DOWNWIND, BASE LEG, AND FINAL TO RUNWAY 14 AND DID NOT EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. HE STATED THE AIRPLANE TOUCHED DOWN AT 2:39PM ON THE RUNWAY AND SLID TO A STOP APPROXIMATELY ON THE CENTER OF THE RUNWAY ABOUT MIDWAY DOWN THE LENGTH. THIS WAS FOUND TO BE APPROXIMATELY 1500 FEET FROM THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD. THE PIC CONTACT THE NTSB DIRECTLY TO REPORT THIS INCIDENT. THE NTSB PERSONNEL THEN CONTACTED THE FAA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
