## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT INBOUND TO LAND AT EVB BUT ENCOUNTERED DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING THE CURRENT ATIS IDENTIFIER CODE. PILOT INFORMED TOWER THAT SHE HAD THE ATIS INFORMATION BUT NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE IDENTIFIER. TOWER CLEARED N15684 TO LAND, RUNWAY 07 BUT AGAIN REQUESTED THE PILOT TO CONFIRM ATIS IDENTIFIER. PILOT MISIDENTIFIED THE CODE AND WAS CORRECTED BY THE TOWER.

PILOT BECAME DISTRACTED WITH ATTEMPTING TO CORRECTLY DETERMINE ATIS IDENTIFIER AND FAILED TO CONFIRM LANDING GEAR POSITION PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN.

LANDING GEAR EXTENDED NORMALLY UPON AIRCRAFT RECOVERY FROM RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
