## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER VISUAL DETERMINATION OF RUNWAY CONDITIONS USING KNOWN AREA OBSTACLES AND DETERMINING ON SITE WEATHER, PILOT SET UP FOR LANDING. NOTE: PILOT WAS NOT INTENDING TO LAND AT THIS POINT, BUT TO DO A TOUCH DOWN DRAG NOT EXCEED 2 AIRCRAFT LENGTHS AND PERFORM A GO-AROUND. WHEN THE MAIN WHEELS TOUCHED THE SNOW, PILOT STATED THE SNOW FELT DEEPER THAN WHAT WAS INITIALLY DETERMINED BY VISUAL OBSERVATION. AT THAT POINT THE PILOT ADVANCED THE THROTTLE AND BEGAN APPLYING STICK BACK PRESSURE. PILOT NOTED THAT THE SNOW CONSISTENCY CHANGED TO A "PUNCHY" FEELING. THEN THE AIRCRAFT TAIL ROSE AGAINST STICK PRESSURE AND THE PILOT FELT THE AIRCRAFT START TO NOSE OVER. ALSO THE PILOT OBSERVED THE PROP CUT INTO THE SURFACE CAUSING THE TAIL TO RISE HIGHER UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED ONTO ITS BACK.
