## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT APPORACHED DTO FOR FINAL LANDING OF THE DAY AND NOTICED HE DID NOT HAVE GREEN LIGHT INDICATION FOR THE MAIN LANDING GEAR. NOSE GEAR INDICATED DOWN/LOCKED. DTO TOWER INFORMED PILOT HIS GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. PILOT DEPARTED THE PATERN TO THE WEST AND PERFORMED THE UNSAFE LANDING GEAR CHECK LIST PROCEDURES. STILL UNABLE TO GET GREEN LIGHTS ON THE MAINS, HE VISUALLY CHECKED FOR THE MECHANICAL INDICATION AT THE REAR OF THE CABIN. HE STATED THE "ARMS" APPEARED TO BE IN THE DOWN/LOCKED POSITION. PILOT RETURNED TO DTO PATTERN AND TOWER AGAIN CONFIRMED THAT HIS GEAR APPEARED DOWN ALL THE WAY. PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RWY 18R. PILOT LANDED AS GENTLY AS HE WAS ABLE AND INITIAL TOUCH DOWN FELT NORMAL, BUT ONCE AIRCRAFT SETTLED, THE MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. AIRCRAFT SLID AND CAME TO A REST APPROXIMATELY 3000' DOWN THE RUNWAY. NO FIRE OR FLUID LEAKS. PILOT UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
