## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

INTERVIEWED THE CFI AND WAS TOLD BY HIM THAT THE STUDENT PILOT AND CFI WERE DOING TOUCH AND GOES AT THE TIME OF THE PROPELLER STRIKE. HE STATED HE INSTRUCTED THE STUDENT PILOT TO APPLY THE BRAKES BUT THE STUDENT DID NOT RESPOND TO HIM. THE CFI STATED HE APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THEN THE STUDENT DID ALSO CAUSING THE PLANE TO PITCH DOWNWARD AND THE PROPELLER TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY SURFACE. DUE TO THE CFI TAKING CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT THEN LOST CONTROL THE CFI WILL RECEIVE COUNSELING BY A POI.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
