## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOVEMBER 12, 2021 AN AIRMAN LANDED AT THE RIVERSIDE AIRPORT. DURING LANDING THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND NEARLY CAUSED A RUNWAY EXCURSION. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT BEFORE THE EXCURSION OCCURRED. THE AIRMAN ELECTED TO TAXI BACK TO THE RUNWAY(RUNWAY 9) AND TAKE OFF FOR HIS NEXT DESTINATION, THE CAMARILLO AIRPORT. THE AIRMAN WAS A STUDENT PILOT ON A SOLO CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM VAN NUYS. THE PLAN WAS TO LAND AT RIVERSIDE THEN CAMARILLO AND BACK TO VAN NUYS.

UPON TAKE OFF AT RIVERSIDE THE AIRMAN AGAIN VEERED TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRMAN STATED THE LEFT WING DIPPED AND THAT IS WHEN HE BELIEVES THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND. THERE DID NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY DAMAGE TO THE WING OF THE AIRCRAFT.

THE AIRMAN ELECTED TO PARK THE AIRCRAFT IN THE TRANSIENT AREA OF THE RIVERSIDE AIRPORT AND GET A RIDE HOME. UPON INSPECTION AFTER PARKING THE PILOT NOTICED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROP.

INSPECTORS FROM THE RIVERSIDE AIRPORT WERE CALLED TO INVESTIGATE THE INCIDENT.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
