STATEMENT FOR PILOT.

I LANDED ON RUNWAY 14 WITH A 1 KNOT CROSSWIND FROM THE RIGHT SIDE. I APPROACHED THE RUNWAY AT THE PRESCRIBED 90 MPH AND FLARED LIKE ANY NORMAL LANDING. AFTER THE WHEELS TOUCHED DOWN AND I HAD TAIL AUTHORITY I BEGAN TO PUT THE PLANE INTO BETA. DURING THAT TIME I FELT THE PLANE LUNGE AND THEN I SLIDE SIDEWAYS. AFTER THE PLANE CAME TO REST, I SHUTDOWN ALL THE SYSTEMS AND BEGAN TO HELP MY WIFE OUT OF THE PLANE. AT THAT TIME I REALIZED THAT THE LANDING GEAR HAD COLLAPSED. NO ONE WAS INJURED AND EVERYONE EGRESS'ED SAFELY.
