## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CROSSWINDS/WIND GUSTS WERE EXPERIENCED AS THE PILOT WAS MAKING A LANDING ON RUNWAY 33. THE NOSE LIFTED AFTER TOUCHDOWN, AND THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL AFTER APPLYING FULL RIGHT RUDDER AND BRAKE, WITH THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTING THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A REST AFTER MAKING IMPACT WITH A BUILDING. THE LEFT WING HAS EVIDENCE OF WRINKLED/DENTED SKIN, PROBABLE COMPROMISED SPARS AND RIBS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA22LA093](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA22LA093), Nov 26, 2021: Tecnam P92 (N19AA), Apopka, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control while landing in a gusting crosswind, which resulted in a runway excursion and impact with a hangar.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
