## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2021, MISHAP AIRCRAFT, A CESSNA COLUMBIA LC41, N512RP, AT PAINE FIELD, WA, STRUCK HANGAR DOORS 33-11 AND 33-13. THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^OPERATOR STARTED THE AIRCRAFT TO TAXI TO THE FUEL PITS AT PAINE FIELD. ON ENGINE START, THE VERNIER THROTTLE WAS POSITIONED IN A HIGHER POWER SETTING THAN EXPECTED AND REQUIRED, AND BEFORE THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^OPERATOR COULD PULL THE THROTTLE BACK, THE AIRCRAFT LURCHED FORWARD, PULLING TO THE LEFT, AND STRIKING HANGARS 33-11 AND 33-13. THE ALUMINUM DOORS WERE SHREDDED AND A CESSNA T182 AIRCRAFT SITTING INSIDE HANGAR 33-13 WAS DAMAGED. DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT N512RP, OCCURRED TO THE PROPELLERS, SPINNER, THE COMPOSITE LEFT AND RIGHT WING LEADING EDGES AND WINGTIPS, SCRAPES TO THE SIDES OF THE ENGINE COWLING, AND A SCRAPE TO THE RIGHT SIDE WINDSCREEN. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THERE WAS NO INTENT TO FLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
