## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED FROM KUOX, UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD AIRPORT, OXFORD, MS AT APPROXIMATELY 10:02 CST (1602Z). THE PILOT STATED HE WAS CLIMBING OUT IN SOLID IMC AND PASSING THROUGH 2500 OR 3000 FEET WHEN THERE WAS A LOUD THUMP NOISE ON THE CO-PILOTS? SIDE OF THE WINDSCREEN. HE NOTED THEY HAD HIT A BIRD AS THERE WERE FEATHERS AND BIRD CARCASS DEBRIS ON THE CO-PILOTS WINDSCREEN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
