## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 7, 2022, AT APPROXIMATELY 0407 HOURS PST, A FAIRCHILD SA2277-DC REGISTERED AS N852DR WAS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT WHEN THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY AND BECAME STUCK IN THE MUD AT THE CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY/ JAMESTOWN AIRPORT (KJHW) . WHILE ON SHORT FINAL THE AIRCRAFT WAS REPORTED TO BE BELOW THE REQUIRED APPROACH SPEED. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THIS JUST PRIOR TO TOUCH DOWN ON RNWAY 25, CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO YAW TO THE LEFT. DURING THE ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT LEFT MAIN GEAR EXITED THE RUNWAY BOUNDARY CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO GET STUCK IN THE MUD. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
