## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT SAID HE HAD A NORMAL ACCELERATION AND LIFT OFF . AT APPROXIMATELY 150' AGL THE ENGINE LOST POWER, AND DROPPED RPM TO APPROXIMATELY 200-300 RPM. NO PRIOR WARNING OR ROUGH RUNNING ENGINE OR ANY INDICATIONS PRIOR TO THAT MOMENT. ONCE IDENTIFIED, THE PILOT VERIFIED THROTTLE AND MIXTURE CONTROLS FULL FORWARD, AUX FUEL PUMP ON, AND REALIZED THAT THERE WAS NOT GOING TO BE A RESTORATION OF POWER, THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED A BURM AND A DITCH, AND THE AIRPLANE CAME FORWARD ON THE NOSE AND THEN TO A STOP. THE ENGINE WAS SPUTTERING AT TIME OF IMPACT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
