## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 2/15/22 N62DV (DA62) DEPARTED LEESBURG AIRPORT (JYO) TO PRACTICE FLIGHT TRAINING IN PREPARATION FOR THE PIC?S ATP CHECK RIDE. AFTER TWO PRACTICE APPROACHES AND A MISSED APPROACH, THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT WINCHESTER REGIONAL AIRPORT WITH A TAXI BACK TO PRACTICE AN ENGINE FAILURE ON TAKEOFF AT (OKV). DURING T/O ROLE, THE PIC REDUCED POWER ON THE RIGHT ENGINE, HOWEVER THE AIRSPEED WAS ABOVE THE RECOMMENDED 50 PERCENT OF VMC, WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO SWERVE TO THE RIGHT, WITH THE LEFT PROP IMPACTING A RUNWAY LIGHT, RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE LEFT PROP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
