## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC OF INCIDENT AIRCRAFT^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. HE IS A FULL TIME CHARTER PILOT FLYING A LEAR JET 75.

HIS FELLOW PILOT FRIENDS HAD TOLD HIM ABOUT A GRAVEL BANK LANDING AREA, LOCATED ON NORMANDY LAKE, THE LAKE WAS CREATED BY DAMNING THE DUCK RIVER. (SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE)

THE DAY OF INCIDENT HE FLIES OVER THIS GRAVEL BANK AREA AND LOOKS TO HIM TO BE SAFE. UPON TOUCH DOWN, THE LANDING WHEELS STARTED TO SINK, THE GRAVEL BANK HAD LEAVES OVER THE GRAVEL AND WAS WET AND SOFT.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDING ROLL WAS SHORT AND A SLOW SPEED NOSE OVER OCCURRED.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS RECOVERED AND SET ON AIRBAGS AND TOWED TO NEAREST BOAT DOCK.

PICTURES OF THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT VERIFIED NO VISIBLE DAMAGE AND RECOVER CREW CONFIRMED THAT NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
