## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 25, 2021, AT 1530 MDT, AN AMERICAN AVIATION AA1A, N7269L, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED HARD AT TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NM AIRPORT (TSC) WHILE ON A PERSONAL, PART 91 FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND A FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE ACCORDING TO THE NTSB AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT (UNKNOWN CERTIFICATION), THE ONLY OCCUPANT ON BOARD. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM RYAN AIRPORT, TUCSON, AZ EARLIER IN THE DAY.

A WITNESS STATED WHILE ON TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE RUNWAY TAIL FIRST AND THEN PORPOISING TO THE NOSE GEAR STRIKING THE PROPELLER ON THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT LEFT THE SCENE AND THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ OF THE AIRCRAFT COULD NOT PROVIDE THE PILOTS INFORMATION. THE IIC WAS UNABLE TO GET THE PILOT INFORMATION. IF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS OBTAINED, THIS REPORT WILL BE AMENDED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
