## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE LGB FSDO RECEIVED A DRONE INCIDENT REPORT FROM SOCAL TRACON, GENERATED BY THE PILOT OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. ON FEB 26, 2022 AT 13:35 LOCAL TIME, THE PILOT REPORTED SEEING A JET PAC 1 MILE NW OF DANA POINT.

INSPECTOR AGW ATTEMPTED TO LOCATE THE PILOT FOR FURTHER INFORMATION AND DISCOVERED THAT THE REGISTRATION NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST AND MAY HAVE BEEN RECORDED INCORRECTLY.

THE LGB FSDO WILL TAKE NO FURTHER ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
