## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING, AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ADJACENT TO INTENDED RUNWAY 31 (IN GRASS). DURING ROLLOUT OR TAXI TO RUNWAY SURFACE, THE AIRCRAFT CAME INTO CONTACT WITH 3,000' RUNWAY DISTANCE REMAINING SIGN, KNOCKING IT OVER. PILOT REQUESTED TAXI FOR DEPARTURE AND IFR CLEARANCE TO NEXT DESTINATION. AFTER CONVERSATION WITH OPERATIONS PERSONNEL, ATC REQUESTED PILOT TO BRING AIRCRAFT TO FBO TO ASSESS POSSIBLE DAMAGE. PILOT TAXIED TO FBO. AFTER ASSESSING DAMAGE, THE PILOT CHOSE TO DEPART THE AIRPORT TO FINAL DESTINATION WITH AIRCRAFT LEADING EDGE DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
