## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR HANDLE WAS PLACED IN THE EXTEND POSITION, THE PASSENGERS IN THE CABIN HEARD A POP FROM THE CABIN FLOOR,AND THE LANDING GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. THE PIC ENGAGED THE MANUAL EXTENSION ENGAGEMENT HANDLE AND ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR, BUT FOUND THE HANDLE JAMMED. HE DIVERTED TO GPT FOR ATC AND ARFF SUPPORT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN22LA138](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN22LA138), Mar 7, 2022: Beech 200 (N8170J), Gulfport, MS, substantial damage. Probable cause: The failure of the right main landing gear actuator, which led to a gear-up landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
