## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING DECENT, AIRCRAFT LOST FUEL PRESSURE AND SUBSEQUENTLY, SIGNIFICANT ENGINE POWER. PILOT STATED HE ATTEMPTED TO USE THE AUXILIARY PUMP BUT IT NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH PRESSURE TO PROVIDE FUEL TO THE ENGINE FOR OPERATION. PILOT WAS FORCED TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY OFF FIELD LANDING. DURING THE APPROACH AND LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK POWER LINES, CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE LANDING THE AIRCRAFT ON A 2 LANE COUNTRY ROAD WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA22LA146](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA22LA146), Mar 6, 2022: Beech A35 (N764B), Waco, GA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The failure of the fuel pressure indicator line due to corrosion that was not detected during the last annual inspection, which resulted in a total loss of engine power.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
