## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

MARCH 15, 2022. N8585S WAS MAKING A LANDING AT THE OMAR N. BRADLEY AIRPORT IN MOBERLY, MO. WHEN THE SOLO STUDENT PILOT FAILED TO NEGOTIATE HIS ROUND OUT AND STARTED A PORPOISE THAT CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO SUSTAIN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT FIREWALL, OTHER ENGINE COMPONENTS AND PROPELLER AS OBSERVED BY A POST ACCIDENT INSPECTION.THE STUDENT PILOT STATED THAT THE PORPOISE BEGAN AFTER INITIAL CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY AND THAT THE BOUNCES BECAME WORSE UNTIL THE SPEED SLOWED DOWN AND HE BROUGHT THE AIRCRAFT OFF OF THE RUNWAY. AFTER THE STUDENT PILOT EXITED THE AIRCRAFT, HE LOOKED IT OVER AND NOTICED THAT THE BOTH PROPELLER TIPS WERE CURLED UP.
