## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ TRAINING WITH CFI TO PREPARE FOR POTENTIAL COMMERCIAL PILOT CHECK RIDE. TRAINING CONDUCTED WITH NOTIFICATION TO AND APPROVAL OF ATC PERSONNEL. TRAINING EVENTS WERE POWER OFF 180 DEGREE TURNS TO EMERGENCY LANDINGS. PREVIOUS EVENTS RESULTED IN SUCCESSFUL TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS WITH LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONS AND INDICATIONS NORMAL ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE DESIRED TRAINING EXPERIENCE WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL, SO THE TRAINING ATTEMPTS CONTINUED. INCIDENT OCCURRED AFTER TRAINING SCENARIO ADJUSTMENT OF ALTITUDE TO 7300'. INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT DID NOT REALIZE THAT LANDING GEAR HAD NOT BEEN EXTENDED FOR THIS ATTEMPT AND AIRCRAFT IMPACTED RUNWAY SURFACE COMING TO A STOP ON THE CENTERLINE. GEAR SELECTOR WAS IN THE GEAR UP POSITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
