## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED, "I WAS THE PILOT MANIPULATING THE CONTROLS OF A/C N6106A AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTING KALISPELL CITY AIRPORT (S27) AND FLYING FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES WE RETURNED TO THE SAME AIRPORT.

ON LANDING WE WERE USING RUNWAY 13, IT WAS A NORMAL APPROACH AND LANDING WITHIN THE FIRST THIRD OF THE RUNWAY.

DURING ROLLOUT AT RELATIVELY LOW SPEED, BELOW 15 MPH, DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS DEGRADING DUE TO A SMALL CROSSWIND, WIND DIRECTION AND VELOCITY WHERE 090@10-15MPH.

TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FROM DEPARTING THE RUNWAY, I APPLIED FLIGHT CONTROL DEFLECTIONS AND BRAKES.

THE AIRCRAFT NOSED DROPPED AND THE PROPELLOR STRUCK THE RUNWAY SURFACE.

THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO US.

THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT, OTHER THAN THE PROP STRIKE, PROP HUB AND SOME MINOR UNDERSIDE COWL DAMAGE."

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
