## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT AND PASSENGER DEPARTED KAAF EARLIER THAT DAY AND HAD A RELATIVELY NORMAL FLIGHT. THE ORIGINAL INTENDED DESTINATION FOR THE FLIGHT WAS KLCH BUT DUE TO GUSTING WINDS THE PILOT ULTIMATELY DECIDED TO DIVERT TO KCWF WHICH WAS REPORTING LESS WINDY CONDITIONS. UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT BANKED TO THE RIGHT AND ROLLED ON THE RIGHT MAIN TOWARDS THE RIGHT EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO GO AROUND BY ADDING POWER. THIS ULTIMATELY EXACERBATED THE BANK AND CAUSED THE WING TO HIT THE GROUND - WHICH RESULTED IN THE PROPELLER TO HIT THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WAS ABLE TO GET THEIR SEATBELTS UNFASTENED AND LUCKILY NO ONE WAS INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
