## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N7199G LANDED ON RUNWAY 35 AT F98 ( YOAKUM COUNTY AIRPORT) AROUND 1200 CDT. THE AIRPLANE EXIT THE RUNWAY TO THE WEST THEN TURN TO THE RIGHT (NORTH) AND STOPPED INTO THE WIND.

AFTER PERFORMED THE AFTER LANDING CHECKLIST, PILOT BEGAN TO TAXI TO THE FUEL PUMP WHICH LOCATED TO HIS LEFT. THE PILOT HELD FLIGHT CONTROL TO PREVENT THE WING TO BE LIFTED UP.

AS SOON AS HE BEGAN TURN TO THE LEFT, THE RIGHT WING MOVED UP AND THE NOSE HIT THE GROUND. AT THIS POINT, THE PROPELLER STOPPED AND THE AIRPLANE WAS HELD ON THE GROUND BY THE NOSE AND THE LEFT WINGTIP ONLY.

THE PILOT TURNED THE IGNITION SWITCH OFF, FUEL VALVE OFF AND MIXTURE CUT-OFF.

HE EXIT THE AIRPLANE FROM THE LEFT DOOR AND COME TO THE RIGHT SIDE. HE PULLED THE RIGHT WING STRUT TO PULL THE RIGHT WING DOWN BUT IT DIDN'T MOVE.

AS HE MOVED AWAY FROM THE AIRPLANE, WIND GUST LIFT THE TAIL OF THE PLANE OVER THE NOSE AND COMPLETELY FLIPPED OVER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN22LA155](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN22LA155), Mar 22, 2022: Cessna 172K (N7199G), Plains, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain control of the airplane during taxi with a strong crosswind.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
