## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

LONG XC SOLO FLIGHT KDAB-KVRB-KMLB-KDAB. CLEARED TO LAND RWY 27R INTO KMLB, 200FT STABILIZED CONTINUING, AS SOON AS TOUCHDOWN, AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT. I TRIED TO MAINTAIN CENTERLINE, BUT DECIDED IF I FORCED TO STAY CENTER THE SITUATION WOULD HAVE BEEN WORST, THEREFORE I MAINTAINED CONTROL AS THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF RWY 27R. STUCK IN THE GRASS, THE AIRPORT OPERATIONS ASSISTED AFTER BEING CLEARED BY THE FAA TO MOVE THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FOR INSPECTION. ATIS REPORTED 330 AT 7KTS, I CHECKED FOREFLIGHT AGAIN TO SEE IF THE WINDS CHANGED WHEN I WAS AT THE FBO. THE METAR REPORTED VAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
