## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 29, 2022 AT 0636 MOUNTAIN TIME (1236Z), CIVIL AIRCRAFT GULFSTREAM G280, REGISTRATION NUMBER N838CC, SERIAL NUMBER 2121, DEPARTED DURANGO-LA PLATA COUNTY AIRPORT, DURANGO, COLORADO (KDRO) WITH ONE PASSENGER ON A TITLE 14 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATION PART 91 FLIGHT EN-ROUTE TO DEKALB PEACHTREE AIRPORT, ATLANTA, GEORGIA (KPDK). AT APPROXIMATELY 0925 CENTRAL TIME (1425Z) WHILE AT CRUISE ALTITUDE OF 45,000 FEET, THE CO-PILOT'S WINDSHIELD CRACKED. THE PILOT IN COMMAND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY THROUGH AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT AT ITS DESTINATION KPDK.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
