## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE COMMERCIAL RATED PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD LANDED FREQUENTLY BEFORE AT THE SNOW-COVERED PRIVATE STRIP. THE AIRPLANE WAS EQUIPPED WITH TUNDRA TIRES, AND HE FLEW A LOW PASS, AND THEN TOUCHED DOWN TWICE WITHOUT LANDING TO CONFIRM THE SNOW WAS HARD. FOR THE FINAL LANDING, AS THE AIRPLANE SLOWED DOWN, HE FELT THE SNOW COLLAPSE AND THE AIRPLANE NOSED OVER. EXAMINATION OF THE AREA REVEALED THAT THE SNOW HAD A 2-INCH CRUST OVER SOFT MUSHY SNOW. REPORTED ?PILOT ERROR?, WITH NO MECHANICAL ISSUES.

AIRCRAFT RECORDS WERE REVIEWED AND FOUND TO HAVE PROPER AIRCRAFT

CERTIFICATION AND CURRENT AIRCRAFT INSPECTION STATUS. PILOT RECORDS WERE

REVIEWED AND FOUND TO HAVE THE CORRECT CERTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION

FOR THE FLIGHT.

CORRECTIVE ACTION INCLUDES COUNSELING THE PILOT.
