## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WE WERE ON THE WAY BACK INTO THE DAB CHARLIE IN LEVEL FLIGHT AT 2000 FEET ON

THE ROSE ARRIVAL. I SAW A FLOCK OF BLACK BIRDS JUST ABOVE THE AIRCRAFT RIGHT

IN FRONT DIVING ONTO US. THE BIRDS WERE ABOUT 50 FT IN FRONT OF US NEAR THE

TOP OF THE WIND SCREEN MOVING FROM RIGHT TO LEFT IN MY FIELD OF VISION. I

TOOK THE FLIGHT CONTROLS FROM THE STUDENT AND DID AN IMMEDIATE LEFT TURN

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
