## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED HEARING A HIGHER THAN NORMAL NOISE LEVEL DURING TAKEOFF. HE REALIZED THAT THE BAGGAGE DOOR WAS NOT COMPLETELY CLOSED BUT THERE WASN?T ENOUGH ROOM TO ABORT SO HE CONTINUED HIS TAKEOFF. ONCE AIRBORNE, HE RECEIVED CLEARANCE FROM THE TOWER TO TURN AROUND AND LAND. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AND BEGAN TO PULL TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO STEER THE AIRCRAFT BACK TOWARDS CENTER BUT THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED AFTER APPROXIMATELY 75 FEET. A PIECE OF THE MAIN GEAR FORWARD ATTACHMENT WAS DISCOVERED ON THE RUNWAY APPROXIMATELY WHERE THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN.
