## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A/C WAS CLEARED TO LAND RWY 21L. AFTER LANDING, LC TOLD THE AIRCRAFT TO EXIT AT

TWY D. THE A/C TURNED OFF OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS PRIOR TO THE TAXIWAY. THE A/C DID A

U-TURN IN THE GRASS AND PULLED BACK ONTO THE RUNWAY. THEY THEN SUBSEQUENTLY TAXIED TO PARKING

WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. DURING A PHONE CALL WITH THE PILOT HE STATED TAXIWAY DELTA IS AT AN

ACUTE ANGLE AND AS HE WAS MAKING THE TURN HIS RIGHT GEAR WENT INTO THE GRASS, WHICH

SUBSEQUENTLY PULLED THE NOSE OF THE A/C INTO THE GRASS. IN ORDER TO AVOID GETTING STUCK, HE

CONTINUED FORWARD UNTIL HE WAS BACK ON A HARD SURFACE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
