## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 05/04/2022 THE PILOT DEPARTED PERRYVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT (PCD) AFTER PREFLIGHT OF N917BR. HE COMPLETED TWO TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS THEN TAXIED BACK TO THE RAMP. HE THEN DECIDED TO DO SOME PATTERN WORK AND FLY TO (A PAUL VANCE FREDERICKTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT)(H88) TO TAKE HIS ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FOR A FLIGHT. RETURNING TO (H88) THE (PIC) WITH THE PASSENGER WERE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 19. THE PILOT STATED HE FLARED THE AIRCRAFT AND IT SLAMMED HARD ONTO THE RUNWAY RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL. HE STATED HE DID NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED. AT THIS POINT HE SHUT OFF ALL INSTRUMENTS AND FUEL. THE NTSB WAS CONTACTED, BRIEFED AND SENT PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE. AFTER REVIEW THE NTSB DETERMINED THIS TO BE AN INCIDENT WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO N917BR AND MINOR INJURIES TO THE TWO OCCUPANTS. THERE WAS NO INCIDENT NUMBER GIVEN BY THE NTSB DUE TO THE INCIDENT WAS PILOT ERROR CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL TO THE AIRCRAFT STRIKING THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
