## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

?N36LC DEPARTED CENTRAL NEBRASKA REGIONAL AIRPORT (GRI) FOR CENTENNIAL AIRPORT COLORADO (APA) ON THE LAST LEG OF A THREE SEGMENT FLIGHT DAY. AIRCREW COMPLETED PRE-TAKEOFF CHECKLISTS AND TAXIED TO THE RUNWAY, HOLDING SHORT TO COMPLETE COMMUNICATIONS PRIOR TO TAKEOFF. PIC TOOK CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND PROCEEDED ONTO THE RUNWAY FOR DEPARTURE. DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLE THE SIC READ OFF AIRSPEEDS AND COMMENTED TO THE PIC THAT THE AIRCRAFT SEEMED TO BE SLOWER TO ACCELERATE THAN NORMAL. THE PIC RESPONDED BY REACHING DOWN TO ENSURE THAT THE PARKING BRAKE HANDLE WAS ALL OF THE WAY IN AND CONTINUED THE TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED AND THE TAKEOFF CONTINUED. THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED NORMALLY AND THE FLIGHT CONTINUED ON TO ITS DESTINATION WITHOUT A FURTHER EVENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT DESTINATION, APPROACH AND LANDING WAS NORMAL UNTIL THE MAIN WHEELS MADE CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY, SLIGHTLY LEFT OF THE CENTERLINE. THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY VEERED TO THE RIGHT. ATTEMPTS TO REGAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL FAILED. ENGINES WERE SHUT DOWN AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY INTO THE MEDIAN.
