## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

BEFORE FLIGHT FROM HOU, THE PILOT REQUESTED FUEL FROM A HOU FBO. TAXI AND ENGINE RUNUP WAS NORMAL. DURING ROTATION THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT ABLE TO DEVELOP POWER IN BOTH ENGINES. THE PILOT MADE AN EMERGENCY OFF FIELD LANDING APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES SOUTH OF HOU CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND PROPERTY ON GROUND WITH MINOR INJURIES TO PILOT AND PASSENGERS. INITIAL INTERVIEW WITH PILOT ON SCENE, PRODUCED A FUEL RECEIPT SHOWING THE PISTON POWERED AIRCRAFT WAS FUELED WITH JET-A FUEL BY THE HOU FBO BEFORE FLIGHT.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
