## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

INSPECTOR SPOKE TO THE PILOT ON MAY 9, 2022. PILOT EXPLAINED THAT HE IS FAIRLY NEW TO THE AIRCRAFT AND ONLY HAS ABOUT 35 HOURS IN HIS PRIVATELY OWNED MOONEY. HE MADE A NORMAL LANDING IN RUTLAND VERMONT ON RUNWAY 19, BUT FAILED TO REMEMBER TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. AIRCRAFT STOPPED ON THE CENTERLINE OF THE RUNWAY WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE. WEATHER WAS VMC AND NOT A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
