## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 05/08/2022, THE ABOVE AIRCRAFT WAS ON APPROACH TO KMOD AT APPROXIMATELY 1200 PDT. ALL INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL AND THE INITIAL TOUCHDOWN OF THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS NONEVENTFUL AND SMOOTH. DURING ROLLOUT, THE NOSE WHEEL BEGAN TO SHIMMY, LEADING TO THE FAILURE OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT SLID TO A STOP WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE AND THE TWO OCCUPANTS EXITED UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
