## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 8, 2022 AT 10:27AM CDT (15:27Z), 1977 BEECHCRAFT BE-F33A AIRCRAFT BEARING REGISTRATION NUMBER N17636, REGISTERED TO THE PRIVATE OWNER, LANDED ON NEW MEXICO STATE HIGHWAY 285 60 MILES NORTH OF ROSWELL NEW MEXICO. THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS THE ENGINE FAILURE CAUSING THE EMERGENCY LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT WAS OPERATED ON AN IFR FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED NO DAMAGE, AND THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM KEFD ELLINGTON FIELD HOUSTON, TEXAS ON MAY 8, 2022 AT 06:31AM CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
