## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 05/10/2022, AT 1320Z, AIRCRAFT N739PC, (CE-172) LANDED ON RUNWAY 36 AND VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT INTO THE GRASS AT OCALA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KOCF) IN OCALA, FL. CONTINUING THEIR MOTION, THE PILOT CALLED THE TOWER TO CROSS THE RUNWAY AND TAXI TO PARKING. N739PC TAXIED TO PARKING WITH NO OTHER ISSUES. VFR CONDITIONS AND VARIABLE RIGHT, QUARTERING CROSSWIND PREVAILED.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS PILOTED BY A STUDENT PILOT CONDUCTING THEIR FIRST SUPERVISED SOLO. 1 POB, NO INJURIES AND NO DAMAGE.

THE ROOT CAUSE IS DETERMINED TO BE THE PILOT?S MISMANAGED CONTROLS DURING AN ATTEMPTED GO-AROUND. A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR WAS THE VARIABLE CROSSWIND WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO DRIFT LATERALLY OFF OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
