## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N29257 WAS IN CRUISE FLIGHT ENROUTE FROM T67 TO KHUT AT 6500 FEET WHEN BOTH ENGINES SHUT DOWN DURING FLIGHT. THE PILOT MADE A COUPLE OF TURNS AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART BUT WAS UNABLE. THE PILOT SELECTED A FIELD TO LAND IN AND IMPACTED THE GROUND IN A WHEAT FIELD ON A 270 HEADING. THE AIRPLANE CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 165 FEET FROM INITIAL IMPACT ON A 210 HEADING, DIRECTLY WEST OF THE INITIAL IMPACT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
