## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 05/17/2022 AT APPROXIMATELY 08:58 GULFSTREAM 550 (G550) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS SET TO DEPART RAMP PARKING AREA FOR TAXIWAY PAPA, TETERBORO(TEB). PILOTS STATED THAT DURING THEIR PRE-DEPARTURE BRIEFING IT WAS DISCUSSED THAT THE DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO AIRCRAFTS ON THE TAXI ROUTE WOULD BE CLOSE AND WOULD REQUIRE A SLOW TAXI AND A NEED FOR GROUND GUIDES BECAUSE " IT LOOKED TIGHT". THE FLIGHT CREW ALSO NOTED IN THEIR STATEMENTS THAT THE WING TIPS ON THE G550 " ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE FROM THE COCKPIT. THE WINGS ARE POSITIONED VERY FAR BACK AND PILOTS HAVE TO TURN THEIR HEADS APPROXIMATELY 150 DEGREES BACK TO SEE THE WINGTIPS".

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS MARSHALLED OUT OF ITS PARKING SPOT AND TURNED RIGHT TOWARD TAXIWAY PAPA WITH WING WALKERS AT BOTH WINGTIPS. SPOTTERS ARE ALSO POSITIONED AT THE NOSE OF TWO PARKED AIRCRAFT THAT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ MUST PASS TO ENTER TAXIWAY PAPA.

AFTER TURNING RIGHT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^CONTINUED FORWARD BEFORE TURNING LEFT ONTO TAXIWAY PAPA . AT THIS POINT THE LEFT WINGTIP OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CONTACTED THE NOSE CONE OF AN UNOCCUPIED AND PARKED AIRCRAFT.

THE MARSHALLER AND WING WALKERS INTERVIEW STATEMENTS STATES THAT THE "STOP" SIGNAL WAS GIVEN BUT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DID NOT RESPOND AND CONTINUED TO TURN. THEY IMMEDIATELY REPORTED THE INCIDENT.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS INFORMED BY ATC TO RETURN TO THE RAMP AREA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
