## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER LANDING AND TAXIING BACK TO THE HANGAR, PILOT PERFORMED "S" TURNS, AS THE HIGH PITCHED NOSE DURING TAXI OBSTRUCTS FORWARD VIEW. THIS CAN BE THE CASE WITH MANY TAILWHEELED AIRCRAFT. AS PILOT NEARED AN INTERSECTION TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN TOWARDS THE HANGAR, PILOT WAS CONVINCED THERE WAS NOTHING IN FRONT, BUT AS SOON AS PILOT MADE THE RIGHT TURN, NOTICED THE AIRCRAFT IN THE RUN UP AREA FOR RUNWAY 19. PILOT DID ALL HE COULD TO AT LEAST AVOID A PROPELLER STRIKE, BUT HIS LEFT LEADING EDGE WING COLLIDED WITH THE TAIL OF N7772B, A CESSNA 180.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
