## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ABORTED TAKE-OFF AND EVACUATED ON JUNE 6, 2022 DUE TO SMOKE IN THE CABIN AND FLIGHT DECK. THE FLIGHT WAS SCHEDULED TO OPERATE FROM INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, IND, TO CHICAGO O'HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ORD. 67 PASSENGERS AND 4 CREWMEMBERS WERE ONBOARD. THE 1L AND 2L/R EXITS WERE USED. A PASSENGER SUSTAINED A MINOR INJURY THAT WAS TREATED BY PARAMEDICS. THE CAUSE OF THE SMOKE WAS DETERMINED TO BE RESIDUAL ENGINE COMPRESSOR WASHING CHEMICAL FLUID.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
