## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

141 INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT. PF AND CFI ELECTED TO BEGIN A NORMAL TAKEOFF FROM RUNWAY 31 AT KCKN WITH ABOUT 2000 FEET OF RUNWAY REMAINING. CFI TOOK AIRCRAFT CONTROLS AND CALLED TO ABORT TAKEOFF AT LESS THEN 500 FEET OF RUNWAY REMAINING AND 57 KIAS THEN THE POWER WAS REDUCED (62 KIAS). THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY SHORLTY AFTER THE POWER REDUCTION WITH LESS THAN 100 FEET OF RUNWAY REMAINING (61 KIAS). AFTER EXTITING THE RUNWAY THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A RUNWAY END IDENTIFIER LIGHT DAMAING THE UNDER SIDE OF THE WING. AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST NW OF THE END OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
