## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF AND DURING CLIMBOUT, AT ABOUT 650' AGL, (APPROX 1 MINUTE INTO FLIGHT) THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE AS ONE PROP BLADE HAD DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT RETARDED THROTTLE, PITCHED FORWARD AND PREPARED FOR OFF-FIELD LANDING. THE PAX IS A 30K+ HOUR ATP / CFI AND ASSISTED WITH THE EMERGENCY. PILOT WAS ABLE TO EXECUTE 180 DEGREE TURN AND RETURN TO AIRPORT, LANDING WITHOUT INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
