## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ENTERED FINAL ON RWY 22 AT 4A6. PILOT STATED HE WAS LINED UP ON CENTER LINE MAINTAINING AIRSPEED. ENTERED FLARE AND WHEN THE WHEELS TOUCHED THE RWY THE AIRCRAFT TURNED QUICKLY TO THE LEFT. PILOT ADDED POWER FOR A GO AROUND AND THE AIRPLANE STARTED GOING VERY QUICKLY TO THE LEFT AND PILOT STATED HE THEN CUT POWER BUT HAD TO MUCH AIRSPEED TO STOP IN THE GRASS AND COLLIDED WITH AIRPORT FENCING AND PRIVATE SEMI TRUCK TRAILERS OFF AIRPORT PROPERTY. PILOT ADMITTED HE LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND COULD NOT MAINTAIN OR REGAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional during an aborted landing, which resulted in a runway excursion and collision with two parked trailers.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
