## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ON FINAL FOR RUNWAY 20 AT PCD, PIC WAS FORCED TO CANCEL HIS INTENDED LANDING DUE TO OPPOSITE DIRECTION TRAFFIC TO RUNWAY 02. PIC CONDUCTED A GO AROUND AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 02. WHILE PERFORMING THE GO AROUND PIC RETRACTED HIS LANDING GEAR. AS PIC WAS INITIATING THE SECOND ATTEMPT AT A LANDING, IT WAS DISCOVERED THE OTHER TRAFFIC WAS BACK TAXIING ON RUNWAY 02. BEFORE PIC WOULD HAVE BEEN FORCED TO CONDUCT ANOTHER GO AROUND THE ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC CLEARED OFF THE ACTIVE RUNWAY. PIC ADMITTED HE WAS DISTRACTED AND NOT MAKING SOUND DECISIONS DUE TO THE UNEXPECTED HEAVY WORKLOAD. PIC FAILED TO LOWER LANDING GEAR BEFORE N44ZM TOUCHED DOWN. PIC FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THE GEAR WARNING HORN.

AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN LEVEL AND SLID TO A STOP ON RUNWAY 02

NO INJURIES WERE NOTED AND DAMAGE WAS ASSESSED AS MINOR.

POST EVENT MAINTENANCE GEAR SWING REVEALED NO ANNOMOLIES IN THE GEAR SYSTEM. FLAPS ALSO WORKED NORMALLY

REPORT MAY BE AMMENDED IF FURTHER INFORMATION IS RECIEVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
