## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CLIMB TO CRUISE ALTITUDE, AROUND 38,000', THE CREW HEARD A LOUD CRACK. THEY DETERMINED THAT THE #3 WINDOW ON THE FO SIDE HAD A CRACK IN IT. THEY DESCENDED DOWN TO 9,000', DECLARED A PAN PAN, DIVERTED TO MSP. CREW REPORTED THAT THE CABIN PRESSURE WAS MAINTAINED THE ENTIRE TIME. THE MASKS DID NOT DEPLOY. NO ADVERSE PAX REACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
