## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRITIVE:

THE PILOT LANDED ON A NON CERTIFIED GRASS RUNWAY WITH A LIGHT QUARTERING TAILWIND. MATURE CORN CROP SURROUNDED CLOSE PROXIMITY OF BOTH SIDES OF THE RUNWAY ENVIRONMENT WITH APPROXIMATELY 15 FEET OF WING TIP CLEARANCE ON EACH SIDE. PILOT ALLOWED THE AIRCRAFT TO BOUNCE SIGNIFICANTLY ON INITIAL TOUCHDOWN TO THE RUNWAY AND ATTEMPTED A GO-AROUND. DURING THE GO-AROUND PROCESS THE AIRCRAFT WAS ALLOWED TO DRIFT FROM RUNWAY CENTERLINE. THE RIGHT WINGTIP ENTERED THE CORN CROP AND YAWED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RIGHT AND DECELERATING THE AIRCRAFT INTO AN UNCONTROLLED RIGHT TURN FROM WHICH THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO RECOVER. THE LEFT LANDING GEAR LEG COLLAPSED UNDERNEATH THE FUSELAGE AS THE AIRCRAFT SLID FORWARD IN THE DIRECTION OF LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST AFTER IMPACTING A PARKED PICKUP TRUCK NEAR A GRAIN BIN WITH THE EMPANAGE BENT ABOUT 90 DEGREES FROM AIRCRAFT CENTERLINE AS A RESULT OF THE AIRCRAFT ROTATING IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION ABOUT THE VERTICLE AXIS.
